HP-19C power supply - Joe Horn - 01-07-2014 09:18 PM

The HP-19C manual says that its power supply is HP part number 82059A. I don't have an A, but I have four B's and three D's, all of which have the same physical plug as the 19C. The B's and D's work fine in the HP-71B. Anybody know if the B and D can be used in place of the A in an HP-19C? If so, is there any difference between the 82059 A, B, and D? The B and D appear identical to me.

Yes, all those versions can be safely used with the 19c. Just make sure the calculator is turned off during battery charging, and operate the calculator from the battery only.
