push command to app (geometry) and switch view - Angus - 02-20-2015 09:02 AM

hi all,

I am sure I read about it once or twice on the forum, but I cannot find it. Frustrating. ;-)

So what I want to do is edit the Symbolic part of an app (geometry) from the cas or a program. If I have f(a):=a^3/5 or so. How can I add a plotfunc(f(a),a) to the geometry app from the command line. And how can I switch to the plot-view. That would be interessting if used from inside a program.
If the geometry app was used before and other commands are resident there. How to deal with that. Can I delete existing commands to generate a clean app and/or backup restore the old state after plotting was done?

out of curiosity: unapply is expr->function. Is there a conversion in the other direction i.e. function->expr?

thanks
