How to define piecewise functions - jc_63 - 12-29-2013 06:16 PM Hello, i try to define a piecewise function in SYMB view like this : [attachment=77] In Plot view, i see F1(X) and F2(X) undefined : [attachment=78] How can i resolve this ? Thanks. JC RE: How to define piecewise functions - Tim Wessman - 12-29-2013 06:40 PM Use the piecewise function. | is used for variable substitution, not domain restriction. Use a [,] key press while in the last box to add more lines. [attachment=79] You could also use the old standby of (2*X)/(X<5) which works on any calculator if it has a piecewise operator or not.
