HP-71B Brochure - Gene - 09-30-2014 06:46 PM

8 page brochure I had never seen. Link is to PDF.

If it won't download, wait as it may be a download bandwidth issue.

Wow, and the users' groups and third-party suppliers took it so much further!

I have it, but have not looked at it, in oh... 30 years! Who the heck remembered that there was a normal dot matrix HP-IL printer?

Thanks Gene.

sure enough, the 82905B = I'm looking at my own unit still cranking out all those beautiful multi-column HP-41 program listings :-)

Me too Smile

The arithmetic operations with built in short constants got voted out.

At one point I had designs to include operations that did the basic arithmetic operations with a built in constant: +45, /3, *19.

I had bought a non-functional 82905B (HP-IB) 2 years ago and I finally got the time to take it apart and do the necessary repairs.
Now that I have a fully functional printer, I just need to find those multi-columns printout programs and that should be pretty easy 8-)

Not by me. I even would have been satisfied with two simple *2 and /2 commands.

Great idea! This is something I really miss.
