Olivetti Logos literature - Jonas Sandstedt - 11-08-2023 08:50 AM

Hello,

I have scanned some literature for Olivetti Logos 42, 45 and 75, at present there is a technical manual, instructions for Logos 75B and some training material.

Provided there is any interest in such documents, where are they best put to be commonly available - does anyone know? Is there any suitable database for non-HP literature?

Best regards
Jonas

archive.org?

The Logos 80B documentation appeared there a while ago.

I would agree with Blackjetrock.

I have sent items to Katie Wasserman, a member here and has her site: http://www.wass.net,
Serge Devidts: http://www.calcuseum.com
and Rick Bensene: http://www.oldcalculatormuseum.com.

Their e-mails are on their various sites.

Hello,

I have now downloaded the following to archive.org:

Olivetti Logos 75B Basic operating instruction
Olivetti Logos 45 brochure
Olivetti Logos 43_45 Technical manual
Olivetti Logos 40_42 Office practice course
Olivetti Logos 40_42 Instructor manual

I hope they can be retrived for the interested persons.

Best regards

Thanks for that. It's useful having these manuals.
I think Katie (wass.net) is interested in pre LCD calculators. I've sent her some manuals for older calculators, but also put them up on archive.org.
Another possible option is a github repository, but that's really for code.

Olivetti do make some really nicely designed calculators, too.

Yes, I agree that the Olivetti calculators are nice.
The Logos 75S is a quite rare thing, a desktop machine that looks as the other ordinary desktops, but with scientific operations instead.
I will se if I have any more manuals in store.
Best regards
Jonas

Hello,

I found one more manual, a technical manual for Olivetti Logos 75S and 75B, which I now have scanned and uploaded to archive.org.

Best regards
