17BII - Memory Lost - Thomas Radtke - 07-30-2014 12:29 PM

As prices went down to 20 to 30 EUR for the 17BII on german ebay I though I should finally get one. After entering the equation for the golden ratio (just for fun) and pressing 'calc', the machine did a reset and came up with 'memory lost'. I wasn't able to repeat this. Also, battery contacts are good, shaking, pressing, bending and so on didn't lead to another reset.

Is there a known problem with the 17BII (Indonesia)?

With the exception of the trashy keyboard, no!

Did you made a self test (<ON><SK5>)?

Stop the self test with <ON><SK3>.

Yes, right now :-D. It displayed OK 17BII-I for a fraction of a second.
