An easier Woodstock battery door - Matt Agajanian - 09-17-2022 08:57 PM Hi all. Not sure if Panamatik still repairs and upgrades Woodstock models. Can an easier to open battery door be assembled on the 25 and 29? Also, I seem to recall that Panamatik highly enhances Woodstock models with more capabilities. Right? Right? Yes. See http://www.panamatik.de/html/produkte.html (He has both E and LP upgrade/repair modules for Woodstocks, so be sure to check out the features of both to see which you prefer.) RE: An easier Woodstock battery door - Matt Agajanian - 09-20-2022 06:00 AM Thanks! I’ll check it out. RE: An easier Woodstock battery door - Dreato - 09-20-2022 03:08 PM I've done both the ACT replacement and the full LP upgrades. The LP takes more time, but the enhanced capabilities are wonderful! The battery doors are a pain. You can buy or print 3D replacements. Use smaller springs that don't compress as much, or try slightly shorter 4/5th AA flat top Ni-MH batteries. Those make it very easy to open. Adjust springs accordingly for a good electrical contact. |
