Does any one knows this good looking little thing?
How are keyboard and screen? I find the design extremely attractive but not confident with actual keyboard comfort. Any review or testimonial?

It is indeed a nice looking low cost machine, that I may acquire one of these days to join my other kind of similar (features wise) Casio FX-991DE PLUS.

The screen looks nice, but can anyone confirm if its "paper white" as shown. I thought it would have the same greenish screen with dark blue pixels as similar Canon, Casio units...

I was reading what this Japanese review said about it, and they were not nice on Canon, as they claim that this calculator is more about good looks than anything else.

Indeed it was discussed (although I'm not sure where to find it -- probably the old forum before the web site changed?) in the context of "What a lovely form factor -- wouldn't it be great to be able to repurpose this one a la WP34s with this Apple-like design" type analysis. I have not seen one for sale anywhere but Europe, certainly not the US or Australia. No idea whether the machinery is physically useful or whether the prettiness of the calculator is merely window dressing!

He says the keyboard is an average standard (or maybe a "cheaper one"), no clicks, membrane one, display standard average. The functionality is an average standard, nothing special. The calculator is a cheaper one (~25E, Edit: 22E incl VAT). What is above the average is the 18digits precision inside, he says (and the test result I published was better than the wp34s' in standard precision, btw).

JFYI, I own one, and I'm having display issues. You know, this kind of problem due to lack of pressure in the border of the display (inconsistent contrast in certain digits). It is very annoying, certainly.
I don't know where I can go whit it to change the LCD module.
The keyboard is also a bit uncomfortable, due to its design (no space between keys). But, at the same time, it looks attractive.
All in all is a nice machine. And its power consumption is ridiculous. The CR2032 battery will last you ages!.
