HP-97 Card Reader install tool - wbvreeuwijk - 12-03-2021 08:34 AM

Hi All,

I recently revised an HP-97 and before removing the card reader I took a few measurements and designed an install tool so that when I was going to re-assemble it would be in the right position.

Should you need something similar and have a 3D printer available please have a look here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5153770/files

For those without a 3D printer, match marking the three screw positions on the base of the card reader with a paint marker and returning the reader to the same position works every time ;-)

Also, from what I have seen the screws leave an indent in the plastic so is easy to refit.

The tool is nice however.

cheers

Tony

Hi Dave,

Let me know if it works for you, so I can adjust the design if needed.

Yes, that's what I should have done on the first HP-97 that I disassembled :-)
