CLAIMED: TI-59 and PC-100C - Ren - 11-08-2021 02:18 AM

I saw this on Friday at a local thrift store ($20) and it seemed unusual enough that someone here might be interested it. It appears to be a TI-59 Programmable "married" to a printer (PC-100A).
I have no interest in it myself, but if someone is interested, I could buy it later this week (they are open Wed-Sat.).

The photo I took with my phone is 4.2 Mb, and can't attach it to this post because it is too large.

EDIT: this unit has been claimed. Thank you

Not that I want the one here, but has anybody figured out a way to get the TI-58/58C/59 locked to a PC-110X (X=A, B, or C)? I actually have a couple of TI-59s and a TI-58C locked to the same type of printers. I did bring it to a locksmith here locally, and he couldn't get it unlocked. Interestingly, all 3 calculators work (both power up and accept keyboard input) with the printer turned on. Most TI calculators seem to suffer from battery pack leakage issues, so I guess the battery pack being removed saved some of them at least.

The (non-attached) photo does show a key, I didn't know what its purpose was.
The unit was wrapped in kitchen plastic, maybe to prevent the key from being "lost".

The printer paper was very faded. It probably hasn't been used in a long time.
If someone is interested, I'll ask to test it before buying. Or, I could just give out the store information, but I have my doubts that they would ship.

Although, this is the HP section of the Forum, I hoped it was okay to post it here, seeing that in the non-HP section, there are people who "curate" other brands. B^)
