Wanted:HP22S - Mike T. - 12-02-2020 10:50 PM I'm tired of getting 'comments' from my better half every time she borrows my HP32S! Has anyone got a nice clean (working!) HP22S that I could give her as a Christmas present? I can't quite believe I'm even thinking buying a non RPN machine... (Would prefer to collect from SE UK) Thank you. RE: Wanted:HP22S - Dave Frederickson - 12-02-2020 11:51 PM Quite the suspicious photo. Seems 22S's with a recessed bezel were never produced. Consider a more available 20S or 12C Platinum with algebraic or RPN entry. RE: Wanted:HP22S - Mike T. - 12-03-2020 01:30 AM I just grabbed the most convenient image I could find, I should have guessed that the exhibit from this site might be special! However, it doesn't seem to be that unique as the second one I found looks similar. On the other hand perhaps they show up in collections because they are rare..? I did think about trying to find a 20S or even one of the business models but if I'm going to pay a reasonable sum I'd prefer to get one that 'matches' my HP32S, it is more of a his 'n hers thing that way, and it keeps my OCD tendencies in check! My 22S - striegel - 12-03-2020 02:46 AM My personal 22S is a bit more worn, but is this a bit recessed too? RE: Wanted:HP22S - Moggul - 12-03-2020 08:39 AM Why not get her a 35S? They can be switched between RPN and algebraic and you can but it new for a reasonable price. https://www.thecalculatorstore.com/epages/eb9376.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/eb9376/Products/F2215A/SubProducts/F2215AA%23ABV RE: Wanted:HP22S - Massimo Gnerucci - 12-03-2020 08:44 AM (12-03-2020 08:39 AM)Moggul Wrote: Why not get her a 35S? No. These are both flat-bezel versions. See this thread: https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-8176-post-84740.html#pid84740 Dave |
