RE: ThinkJet 2225B battery pack question - vassilisprevelakis - 01-29-2024 07:21 AM Hi all, If the intention is to have a mains powered, HP-IL compatible thinkjet printer, rather than trying to get the battery pack of the 2225B working you could use a 2225A. The A version is AC powered and like the B version is HP-IL based. The HPIB interface on the A model is really an HP-IL to HP-IB bridge. Note however that the HP-IL transformers (?) and connector are missing so you will need to improvise there. Cheers Vassilis http://www.series80.org BTW the ThinkJet paper is a great find, as this paper produces markedly better quality than standard fan-fold. I agree. Here's a case for sale. https://www.ebay.com/itm/155912409299 RE: ThinkJet 2225B battery pack question - rprosperi - 01-31-2024 02:32 AM (01-31-2024 12:06 AM)Dave Frederickson Wrote:(01-29-2024 07:21 AM)vassilisprevelakis Wrote: BTW the ThinkJet paper is a great find, as this paper produces markedly better quality than standard fan-fold. It really is dramatically better, but at $ 0.0467 / page (if you're in the US, much more if not) you had better really NEED a lot of it.
