Hi all,

If the intention is to have a mains powered, HP-IL compatible thinkjet printer, rather than trying to get the battery pack of the 2225B working you could use a 2225A.

The A version is AC powered and like the B version is HP-IL based.

The HPIB interface on the A model is really an HP-IL to HP-IB bridge.

Note however that the HP-IL transformers (?) and connector are missing so you will need to improvise there.

Cheers

Vassilis

BTW the ThinkJet paper is a great find, as this paper produces markedly better quality than standard fan-fold.

It really is dramatically better, but at $ 0.0467 / page (if you're in the US, much more if not) you had better really NEED a lot of it.

Keep one or two reams and sell the others.

If someone does that, let me know please, I'd likely get a ream.
