FS non-working HP48SX - Kaliuzhkin - 05-08-2020 01:03 AM

This model passes the self-test ("OK-48") and the keyboard test ("KBD1 OK"). However, it is not responsive to six keys. In particular, it does not respond to the back arrow key (55), the division key (65), the multiplication key (75), the minus key (85) and the addition key (95). These keys have all been tested with pressure on the key itself and with prefixes alpha, left-arrow, right-arrow, alpha left-arrow and alpha right-arrow. The right-arrow key works for the symbols "R," "r," and rho. It does not work with the key pressed or prefixed by left-arrow or right-arrow. Some other keys must be pressed very hard to be recognized.

Note that these non-recognized keys are all in the rightmost column.

I believe this calculator can be repaired.

Serial No. 3017A00562; made in USA.

Box and case included.

Asking $10.00 + shipping

Probably an easy fix, I'd bet its still the rubber bumper.

Do you have manuals and such?

Yes, I have the one-volume manual and would be happy to include it with the calculator. The manual is usable but is only in fair condition. I'd also be happy to include a case.

Hi Kaliuzhkin, I sent you a PM, I would like to buy your 48SX, if it's still available, thank you!
