Feature Request: ppl auto save copy - DrD - 04-04-2020 04:21 PM

For those times when something goes wrong:

A useful feature would be to autosave a copy of an open program edit session. This idea might have an option setting, under the CK "File" menu, to toggle the feature on or off. If something went wrong, a "recover from saved copy" message, would permit a restore from the last point in the auto-saved session.

Perhaps not so important for those short, quick programs, but for lengthy ones, when something goes wrong, and all seems lost, to be able to recover from a temporary backup could be highly appreciated!

Any merit to this idea?

+1.

What about undo and redo options? I save lots of formulas in textbook format in Notes and sometimes accidentally delete something. There no undo option, which frustrates me a lot.
