I have the permission - see here:
https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.en.html

And that this license applies to WP34s - see here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wp34s/
Which clearly says:
"License: GNU General Public License version 3.0 (GPLv3)"

And the manual is an integral part of the WP34s project - it's even included in the official WP34s-package 'wp34s_V3.zip' here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wp34s/files/

And nowhere is written, that it would have any other license!

Nothing more to say - goodbye ...

Franz

Hello,

I think I still keep a German language manual of the 32SII in addition to an English one and I am willing to mail it and to get it sliced.... and scanned and somehow returned, best spiral bound - I pay for that.

Just let me know to whom to mail best.

Give me a couple of days time until I am back in Germany June 13, presently I stay at my other residence in Japan.

greetings

Andreas

First of all:

Get well soon!

As for the manual:

I have an HP 32SII and have lost that manual. So I asked for any possible help from the forum members.

Neither did I announce nor originally intend publication. Somebody got me wrong.

The idea of inclusion in the DVD was brought up by others and - as Dave seems to have permission - this seems to be a very good idea indeed.

Once spiral bound, it's easy to remove the spiral, scan it and then put the spiral back on. You end up with a nice scanned copy and a spiral manual.
Bill
I've done that too Bill. It's worth the money and time if you're trying to learn the unit, not so much if the glued binding is just on a reference manual.

Meanwhile I found my German language manual, 1. Edition 1991 and I mail it soon to anetzer for scanning, certainly he makes the scans available to Dave for the museum's DVD. HOwever, it may take some time.

The binding of the book is soft, therefore it easily can be placed flat onto a scanner for a double page scan without damage. The disadvantage is, it is printed with grey ink on very thin, almost transparent paper, so, contrast is a little low.

From Andreas' test scan I'm quite sure Dave will get a readable result. I will keep you posted.
