So, I followed the instructions and now have two modules in the 'Active Modules' section. The manual states 'Press [ ENTER ] to accept Active Modules list.
Now the module should be active.'
When I do that, I'm returned to the stack display. How do I actually run what's on the modules?

Why don't you ask this on SM forum?
41 - 101: CATALOG 2 is your friend.
R/S and ENTER will show you all the functions available.
