Wanted: Help to repair an HP-9815 - STOX - 07-15-2019 10:48 AM

I have an HP-9815 that worked well until I took it apart to add the missing plastic paper tear bar. The tape drive was a bit shaky and sometimes didn't read the tapes properly - but otherwise, it was in fine condition. Now it isn't and to add insult to injusry, I couldn't get the tear bar in place either.

It does light up the little led in the tape drive and it does start reading the tape upon auto-run at start. But no display or printer function.

Is there anyone I can send my HP-9815 to in order to get it repaired (including fixing the tape direve and the paper tear bar?

Larry Atherton (LA-Tech-Renewal) will do an excellent job but be prepared to pay accordingly.
