for sale: HP 48G Series User's Guide (paperback) - cdmackay - 05-27-2019 08:56 PM

If anyone is interested, I have a spare original paperback copy of:

HP 48G Series User's Guide
Edition 5, October 1993, printed 12/93
approx 600 pages

Note that this is for the 48G and 48GX calculators. It is not suitable for the 48S/48SX.

The 48G+ came out in 1998, 5 years after the book was printed, but the G/GX were made until 2003, so were still current. I think the only difference between the 48G and 48G+ was the latter having 128KB memory (like the 48GX) as opposed to the 48G's 32KB. So I think this book is also suitable for the 48G+, as well as the 48G/48GX.

The book has a badly creased cover, and rubbing to the front spine corner, otherwise OK. No torn/missing pages. There's a barcode sticker on the front. I didn't remove it to avoid leaving a sticky residue, but that could easily be removed. The book doesn't smell of damp (pet hate of mine when buying old books).

Note that this is the 5th edition, October 1993. That was not the last one made, which was the 8th edition (Dec 1994). I don't know changed between the two.

PDFs of the 8th edition are available in the museum's DVD set. So this book is for people who want a paperback version, and don't mind it not being the last edition.

Few pics to show condition, here.

First reasonable offer gets it. I'll add £3 for P&P on top of that (it weighs 620g).
