Jerry Merryman, the man who helped invent the hand-held calculator, has died - Namir - 05-03-2019 09:01 AM

Jerry Merryman, the man who helped invent the hand-held calculator, has died. Merryman worked for Texas Instruments and was part of the calculator-team that produced a calculator prototype in 1967. The teacm also included Jack Kilby who would win the Nobel Prize decades later for his efforts. I must say that I don't know of any HP calculator employee who won a Nobel Prize.

I guess we all owe Merryman a big thank you for making our llives as students and professionals, a little bit easier.
