I can't tell the scale from the photo, but if it's solid gold, I guess it's safe to conclude it's not over an inch tall... is this the same size as the 41c keychain fob?

I don't think it's gold at all (or I'd have made a bargain).
I'll try to take measurements later today.

Not so easy to measure, being inside a plexiglass brick, but it should be around mm 28*15*2

Wow, even smaller than the keychain fob. That one measures mm 44 x 25 x 2.

Hard to imagine such effort was spent twice to make tiny 41C trinkets, but I'm grateful they did it, whoever it was (though almost certainly as paid by HP).

Differences:
  • Fob has function name on every key, and shifted Fn name above
  • Fob has ALPHA in bottom-right of display
  • Fob has HP logo to the left of 'Hewlett Packard' in bottom label
  • Fob has '***HP-41C***' in the display, while it appears the gold piece has '***HP-41***', but coming in 1984 there were several models then

I your tiniest 41 Massimo, gotta look for another...
