Have a look at these on TAS ... same printer ...
(not sure about the type of interface, though)
btw: just tested it with my CMT-200 and had it printing for me in 5min (1 pen still had some juice in it). The CMT-200 actually allows to set a Delay parameter in the Handshake mode and has the INVON function to invert polarity on the 8 bit output lines, so all I needed was a DB25 to Centronics cable to make it work.
To connect it to the 82166A I'll follow J-F's guidance from the JPC article.

Nice. Mine was almost new in box. It had been used a little, but still had most of what I presume was the original roll of paper on it. I think even a couple of the pens had a little life left in them. I stole mine for $50 plus reasonable shipping.
