Simplify e^(i*ln(x)) - Alexmaster350 - 09-13-2018 02:00 PM

Is there any function on the CAS to turn e^(i*ln(x)) into x^i?

I tried exp2pow which should do exactly that and it does nothing. I have tried it in complex mode as well.

Thanks for any help.

exp2pow does not rewrite as power if the argument of the exp is not real, because x^i can only be defined using exp(i*ln(x)).
