I have a HP25 not working that some of the keys dont respond on anymore, i open it up and like that the lead paint has chipped on some of the keys, what is the best way to fix this?

Seems like membranes on the HP2x line tend to fail?

It could be a row or column of keys that has gone dead potentially of the row/column tracks damaged somewhere along the lines ? ... or is it possibly just one or two of the more extensively used buttons where the ‘dome’ switch has failed or maybe just dirt under the ‘dome’ switches ?

I guess a multimeter would quickly confirm which it is
