What type of screws should I get for a HP-41? - Waon Shinyoe - 02-10-2018 04:04 AM

Happened to lose one of the lower screws on the back of a HP-41C... I searched for the info but most posts are about the cracking/loosing issue. But where should I find a similar screw?

Here is what I know. The screws are special self threading screws, but they may not be the best thing to use when replacing the screws. The only place I have seen specific screws for the HP-41 are with the HP-41C speed-up kit that I purchased in 1988 from Educalc (they included new self threading screws with the kit that were slightly larger than the original), and in a repair kit from Systemyde when doing a 41-CL conversion. Although the website says the repair kits only are sold with a CL conversion, it may be possible to find out where he obtains the screws or the kits and get them there.

I'll send you one for the cost of shipping.
