On the topic of (re-)launching new models: yes, we are looking into this. This could involve completely new lines or previous models. It will also be improvements of current models. This we will inform you about as soon as there is final information to share.

Looking forward, rest assured that there is a full team of dedicated experts and HP-enthusiasts such as myself available to make sure the transition and the introduction of new models will be a success.

Again, any questions, comments, concerns or compliments (these we like most) are more than welcome! We will be reading along on this forum, but suggestions like the ones in this topic are preferred to be sent by email.

Thank you very much for your answer. We are clearly at a crossroads. I sincerely hope that, thanks to your team, the future of this HP Prime is now assured. Also reassuring, if I understood your text correctly, that you are in contact with the historical team that created the HP-Prime.
Where can I find the link to the Bug Tracking and Improvement Proposals site? Unless the private email solution is currently the encouraged method?

I have successively owned an HP-28s, an HP-48G then an HP-48GX a 49G finally an HP-50G… I, too, was quite disappointed in 2013 when I discovered the limitations of the HP RPL possibilities -Prime… The clear separation between the numeric part and CAS… But today, all that is only a distant memory. Ok this is not the right place to list these kinds of proposals ...
I am waiting for the link to this "bug tracking site and suggestions for improvements"

It good to hear there will be a large dedicated team . Some effort needs to be made to raise the profile of the Prime. This list of top graphing calculators for 2021 does not even feature it ..

Klaas, the last post in this thread was 11-23-2021. What is the current situation now that we are at the end of April 2022?

I am not seeing encouraging information on either of the respective websites. For example...

1. ROYAL SITE: No Buy Button, but instead shows "Notify When Available" and doesn't even mention if it is the G2 version:

I am sorry for my delayed answer.

We have been working for the past 7 months on the transition. We finally have the final version of HP calculators that can be shared.

There were also a couple of changes made to the packaging:
1) There is only one international version for each model
2) One Quick Start Guide with languages
3) Updated Insert Card
4) CD was removed
5) Serial number was removed and will not be tracked
5) Legal Sheet was removed and the content was added as a part of the Quick Start Guide

Question: While I can understand eliminating the serial numbers as a cost-saving measure, how will the Licensees be able to determine if a defective device is within its warranty/support window?

Maybe no changes are necessary. Is there any "Hewlett Packard" lettering on the Prime?

As far as I know, yes, however without any official HP Licensee site to buy it from, it's impossible to say what the 'official' position is. It does does remain available in places like BestBuy, Staples, Amazon, etc. so I'd guess that yes it is in general. Also, it seems unlikely Moravia would be working on fixes, etc. if there were no plans to continue sales.
