Let's assume this defined function:

It works as expected:

But if you make one of the next steps (and it doesn't matter if you first switch calculator off by [Shift]+[On] or not):
  • tapping on triangle system button on phone;
  • tapping on circle system button and then wipe HP Prime from running apps (square system button);

... and if you launch the HP Prime then defined function no longer works:

It's because variable became unchecked:

I'm running version 11586 from 2017-04-20 on Nexus 6:

what do you mean by triangle, square and circle system button?
Are these android buttons or HP Prime buttons?
As I wrote:
"triangle system button on phone". In most cases, it means virtual at-bottom-of-screen buttons on current android smartphones.
I haven't seen an android phone with those symbols on them for about 10 years...:-)
I just call them the home button and the right and left buttons.
If it were a prime button, anyone could help you, but I think since it's an android thing, you are going to need the help from someone from HP that worked on the emulator for android.
