Last weekend fellow forum member Art Litka was visiting Oakland from Florida. We went to a local flea market. He scored a TI 59 with cradle, TI 95 with manuals & some accessories, and an HP 95. I found a couple of HP manuals and one of these underwhelming programmable calculators. He said that since he did better than i did, he'd make it up to me by letting me purchase the second hp 70 that he finds..... right after he finds his first. Thanks Art!

Was trying to figured out what a 95 was. Not overly familiar with HP computer products. The HP-95 you're referring to is a small computer?

I doubt very much if he found an HP-95C at a flea market; that would make him the luckiest person in the history of the world; and besides, I think Den would have pounced on it first from several yards away.

It's much more likely he bought an HP-95LX; not nearly as extraordinary, but still a nice find for a local area flea market...

Although cute, the 2290 felt like it was just something Litronix made because, like calculating π to 1,000 places, it was something they could do for the fun of it.
