My connectivity kit keeps halting while trying to download updates. What might be causing this issue?

How old is your connectivity kit? If it is the latest, it probably won't have the problem. (has to do with the HP FTP timing out if the download takes a while). The one I linked to directly doesn't use FTP any more so shouldn't' have that problem.

Thank you! This seems to have worked. I had only just downloaded the connectivity kit off of HP's website but I guess the link was old.
