Hi all,
My web site which was generously hosted for free by a company here will be taken over shortly and will be terminating on 16/08/2017.
Unfortunately, as I don't have funds to keep it going on a paid basis, it will probably be shut down on that date.
cheers
Tony
Perhaps you can transfer your site to github, which is free?
Sad news

Hello Tony,
I can setup an account and create a reserved space for your files on my site.
The site is hosted in Montreal, QC, Canada. If you are interested, send me a PM.
Sylvain
My website was originally hosted by an early Pentium PC in our garage, set up by our son, and later by an old 1U rack-mount server. The latter is still there, in service, but not for my website which is now on a virtual server at Digital Ocean (
https://www.digitalocean.com/) for $5 a month so I can get a data rate that's a thousand times that of our DSL here at home. The monthly data transfer is basically unlimited, and the Digital Ocean price is less than the server in the garage takes just in electricity! At this point it would probably be more efficient to replace the server in the garage with a laptop and an external drive or two. We use it for automatic daily backups of the computers around the house, and as a gateway router.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
Maybe I should look into setting up a website myself. Then I could host your stuff, too.
I have tried to download all of the calculator page to make sure I will have acces to all of your brilliant work in future, even if we don't find a solution to keep your website live.
Cheers,
Harald

I am missing WebHit.php and have 138MB. Seems about right.

Your work on HP emulators is really outstanding. I hope this will not keep you from going on. Everybody, like me, copied all your files in a hurry after this announcement. Probably you will find another affordable provider soon. When I get the HP-92 ROM code I will send it anyway to you.

I saved the home page on the Wayback Machine
Wayback Machine
but the files are a different story.
Tony,
I can host your site for free (same server that runs hpcalc.org) if you are unable to find another host.

Eric,
That would be a life saving act if you can host Tony's files. His emulators are awesome.

Hi all,
Sorry for the delay, I had a bit of a turn the other day, and sadly as a pilot I have been grounded.
Thanks for the kind offers. I replied to one and will wait for a reply. I'm sure just a link to the zipped files should suffice, and I will see if I can do something in the future.
Re the 92 code, I probably won't be able to resist the challenge if it becomes available :-) I've been playing with another model when I have some free time, but it is complicated and will take some figuring out.
cheers
Tony
Tony,
You've done incredible work and have given the user community a great gift. I hope your work can continue to be available in some form.
While my main Windows laptop has been replaced by a Mac, I was able to install your creations on an XP machine with no problems. I am delighted that I can now use your HP-92, which has long been a fascination for me. Great job !
Thanks for all the enjoyment and knowledge you have given us !

A pleasure :-)
The other day I attempted to download the cce33.zip file from the original website. McAfee Weblive wasn't happy about it.
Now that I did it from through the Wayback machine, the download went through.
Thank you teenix!

Unsure why that occurred. Norton used to complain but was only that it didn't recognise it as a popular download.
I had latest AVG and other scanners check it and doesn't report any problems even if I download it.

Seeing as the official Teenix site is down now, I have a mirror up at
http://teenix.hpcalc.org
My offer to host it with the official domain is still valid; all that is necessary is to point the domain to the IP address of my server and it will automatically work.
