Never have to change batteries again! Will a standard 2-1/4" thermal paper roll work?

I am sure there are rolls of non-thermal paper still around. For example I can see a Meijer receipt clearly printed on a regular paper by a dotmatrix printer. But brief search on amazon only finds thermal paper. Strange.

Try searching for "adding machine paper roll" or calculator roll" for plain paper.

Sometimes it helps to be old...
