Hello,
I just got a CASIO fx 180 PA and I'm very impressed by its
VERY low consumption, as reported by Jebem (
here ): only
0.00003 W (with one AA 1.5 V battery) !
Is there any calculator doing better ?
Thanks
The HP voyager series are renowned for their low power consumption. The record without changing batteries is well over twenty years.
I've got one on its second set since the 1980's, although the first didn't make the twenty year mark.

Perhaps an advantage to the CASIO:
For the CASIO FX 180PA: 0.00003 W / 1.5 V = 20µA
For a HP 11C: 0.00025 W / (3 x 1.5 V) = 56 µA
Is it (theorically) right ?
