Hello,
I have a HP-15C with serial no. 2438B
Unfortunately the display is damaged and slowly bleeding to death. There was an article on compatible displays from other Voyager models but I cannot find it. Can someone please point me to it (or tell me which calculators are compatible)?
Kind regards
Andreas

Any display of a compatible vintage Voyager can be used, so look for a cheap 12C on auction sites. Verify the same vintage/design as yoyr 15C by checking the type of battery contacts; it's more reliable than using serial numbers. The earliest Voyagers had small nearly flat contacts on both sides with clear plastic battery retainers again on both sides. The later ones had a coil spring and clear retainer only on the left side (looking from rear with bat at top).

So that is what I have to look for? - Sounds good - I have a 16C with the same design - or is that a waste?

I guess there's more than one member here who would graciously swap an HP-15C for a working HP-16C and throw in an HP-12C without a hesitation...
.-)
Definitely a waste!
A lot of us would give our left nut to get our hands on a working 16C
Since ebay is full of fictuous prices: What would be a reasonable price for a 12C and a 16C?
I recently paid (like 2 or 3 months ago) 25 € for a working 12C from '88. I was planning on taking it apart and re-use the keys... the PCB is held in place with those plastic retainers.... one way calcs are they
