HP Forums - HP-41CV Display Behaviour

I recently got a 41CV. Forcing a MEMORY LOST condition, I observed a reproducible strange behaviour of the display: the letters MORY LOST were build first, the letters ME were addede with a short but recognizable delay - almost like a scrolling display. Any thoughts?

That could be an explanation, I guess ... but, no, not a single one in this case ;-)
