Maybe you could be interested in a Dumont Corvus 500 for only US$ 1.490,00
Massimo; do you know any of the story of the Dumont Corvus 500? I know nothing of it and would like to quote you on it's history in my tiny page on the 500. -db

Tom; Close, and Joerg's Datamath site is always a good source, but I meant the "duMont" badged version shown here. - db

Sorry Den, I don't own any, alas no further info.
I was just referring to an item on eBay (302150481086).

Gileno, that is just the one I was referring to...
Maybe it's a store brand like the German Privileg calculators were

This seems to be whence the Du Mont logo came from.

Maybe. But then, why would a company like that rebrand a calculator? For it's employees? They hardly need a scientific calculator. As a gift for customers? Why would TV network customers need scientific calculators... Very strange.

NB: There are two kinds of the "Privileg" calculators mentioned above - rebranded calculators from major manufacturers, e.g. TI and calculators manufactured specifically for them and not available anywhere else. The "Privileg" name was used for most technical things marketed by the defunct german mail-order house "Quelle", the only exception (to my knowledge) being clocks and watches which they called "Meister Anker".

At the moment the price has been reduced by 6% and shipping by 25%. Even if vice versa, it'd still out of my range, too.

Sometimes very high prices are used to present a special collectible on TAS and prevent everybody from bidding as the seller has no intention to part with the beloved object. I wonder if this is the case here.
Maximilian - RE: Privileg
My two Privileg calculators, the SR 54 NC and the PR 55 NC look like Commodore calculators of that era, mainly in the buttons. However; the case/body is completely original. They also share the best battery door design that I've ever seen. They are both RPN and as an aside; Commodore made an RPN too; the RPN 4921.
