I noticed that the negative sign in front of a fraction is barely visible. Try 1/2 and then the +/- key to see what to see what I mean.

Are you using the large font? It is worsened by that font size

Yes, I was using the large font. Reducing the font size appears to correct the problem. I guess if you have bad eyesight, as I do, it is a choice between seeing the numbers and characters or the unary minus sign.
