Would log plot be available in HP prime ?
Dr. Z
There is not a native log plot in Prime. As far as I know, this hasn't ever been done as part of the built in tools for "hardware" graphing calculators. It is definitely something I'd like to see in Prime though at some point.
Thanks for your answer.
Let's hope that HP programmers work on log plot issue for a near upgread.

Thanks. Didn't know that.
Since I used the HP-Prime to analyse the half-life of froth on beer (a famous experiment at school) I would also like so have a log-y-axis.

Not my work, but you can look up the experiment for example at

http://www.trinkwasserhilfe.de/klawonn/Physik/HWZ.htm

It works very well and would make a nice "HP-Prime-worksheet" for physics-classes (of course you can use "Alkoholfreies Weizenbier" of different brands and let the student groups compare...) :-)

To have a semi-logarithmic plot together with curve fitting (fitting a line) offers lots of didactic possibilities!

Greetings
Dirk.
