First of all, this belongs into "forum issues and administration".
And then: you can already do this. These forums support mathjax: \(x^2-\frac{2}{3}x-4=0\)

the importance of writing in latex, is that it is widely used in scientific publishing, if they support this welcome it, also would not be bad to have LATEX and mathJax
