Hi to all,

I just got a Sharp PC-1500 for very cheep, including the printer cassete interface, as it was sold togheter here in Brazil, with the same S/N for both, with the name PC-1500 RP or RP2 (with more memory).

The printer cassete interface had the internal NiCad battery leaked too much, and I don't know the extension of the damage yet, so I want to know before take the time to try to revive it if there is still pens available for the print head.

If I could not find the pens, I would not bother to waste time on the pcboard.
I google searched it with no help.

I thank you in advance for any light in this subjet.

By the way, what a nice machine! Bulk, sturdy but powerfull, a pleasure to use, and a very beautiful machine!

Cheers

JL
There is a company in Germany selling new pens compatible with the Sharp CE-150 plotter: see here for 4 black pens and here for 4 color pens.

Really thanks, Didier.

Now I will check the pcboard.

I read somewhere that the NiCad is not necessary if we use a power source with ,
at about 1.5A. I have one, I will clean the board and check the pcb if it's alive.

Thanks one more time.

Thanks damaltor, the more sources, the better
Sure. I fund them a while ago while searching for plotter pens for a Casio pb-770. Never ordered some though.
