My update from a virtual machine:
* Mac OS 10.11.4
* Parallels Desktop 11.1.3
* Windows 10 Home, version 1511 (Build 10586.218)

The update works brilliantly!! I will spend the rest of the evening exploring... ;-)

also by me: Parallels 10.11.3 in Mac OS X 10.11.4, Win 10...
Thanks for new firmware, Tim!!!
The download at FTP site didn't finish at first time I tried to download the new Virtual Calculator version to test...
EDIT: I've successfully downloaded the new Virtual Calculator on Microsoft Edge and installed it!!! Smile
Thanks Tim, this is great news!
Sucessfully updated on my phisical unit with Windows 10. Let´s explore the machine. Thank you HP team.

Edit: Have you tried Graph 3D from Han in this new firmware? It gives me an error "Invalid Objet".
Has the problem with USB 3.0 connectivity been fixed with the new version of the Prime CK? My Prime doesn't stay connected with my PC's USB 3.0 ports (no USB 2.0 ports available). It continually disconnects and reconnects and yes, I checked the USB cable.
this was a long standing bug that I hoped would have been corrected with the latest release.

I initially had problems on a USB 2 port on my machine and switched to a USB 3.0 port and the update completed without a hitch.
I am having trouble downloading the Connectivity Kit and Virtual Calculator (Failed - Network Error); Windows 10. I'll try again tomorrow.

The firmware downloaded just fine and I will be playing with it the next few days.

Thanks,

Eddie
Hi Eddie,
If not already done, use internet Explorer.
Great !

How do we set a personnalized picture on background ?

Thanks
Update now circuitously installed & working OK.
Hello,

(04-21-2016 01:37 PM)Dirk.nl Wrote: [ -> ]Choose box inside input function works perfect now.

Choose should also work inside a spreadsheet!

for example, set a spreadsheet with
A1:A5= {5,4,3,2,1}
B1= 1
B2= =CHOOSE(B1,"test", A1:A5}

as a bonus, if you have a program attached to your spreadsheet with a function called test_Changed(), it will be called each time the user changes the choose value.
you can try:
EXPORT test_Changed()
BEGIN
A3:= A3+1;
END;

Thanks

with Function app active:
shift + Plot (setup), page 3: you get a dropdown list: no background, centered, stretched, best fit, XY Range... and two soft buttons: Choose and Import...

Amazing Smile

A very nice update !!!

Now square root of complex numbers works in all cases and you can also compute Riemann Zeta Function for complex numbers.
The ability to move a curve in the Function App and see how the funciton change is also very good!

Good job !!!

I have a problem installing the new firmware in the school, at home it worked very good on an old and slow netbook with windows 7 home.

The prime says HP Prime recovery mode V16. But does nothing. The first time it restarts after a while, if I try a second time it stays blocked and I have to do a pin reset.

It also looks like you should have administrative privileges to upgrade, not a problem for me but a problem for the students.

Someone had the same problem?
OK find, just put the .JPG file in the app folder Smile
CHOOSE(...) now makes a drop down selector in the spreadsheet
Ok - Its Works fine.
And Icon APP very simple to change.

On my Win 10 Build 14316, the Connectivity Kit and Virtual Emulator updated with no problem. When I plug in my calculator (NW version) I get a window in the CK that says Update firmware with a red caution about doing a backup. I click update and the calculator goes into recovery mode V13. On the PC a box pops up asking if I want to upgrade the firmware for this calculator. I click update then get a window that says no updates are available. The calculator resets and when I check the version on it, it still says 2015 6 17 (8151).

Huh?

By chance are you running as a non-admin user by default?
