LOL, maybe it was disclosed... lots of us are reading both MoHPC and S80 lists...

Wish I could attend too... sigh...

registration date has passed - are there still any cheap seats in the back row available or is the venue already fully booked?
Any need for additional presentations?

I am still contemplating to make the trip, maybe together with an undisclosed Series-80 expert if that topic is of interest (not exactly calculators).

Martin

For shure there are still seats left: Allschwil is an open place. Drop me your email and I can send papers and infos.

Matthias

I was wondering if is there going to be some kind of (Verpflegung) refreshment during the meeting, like coffee and cake or should we bring our own ?

See you there !

See you there !

Some softdrinks and Müsli-Riegel will be available - perhaps Smile
Normally we have self catering in Allschwil, but yes, there will be some chips, nuts, .. here.
Will bring something from France too...
Catching the 8:00 AM ICE from KA - should be at SSB around 9:50, then at the gathering point around 10:30 weather permitting.

Cheers,
ÁM
I would like to thank Matthias for organizing this meeting. It was very informative and a great opportunity for me to meet personally some of the people who are very active in the group and the community.

Many thanks for the (numerous) speakers who contributed exciting and interesting topics.

See you all next time

Vassilis
The European Allschwil Meeting 2016 was an inspiring weekend. It was also the presentation of the worlds first ever HP-70 microcode emulator, the last of the Classic calculators, whose ROM code remained unrevealed until now. This was made possible by the generous offer of HP collection to open his precious calculator for ROM surgery. Thank you Matthias for making this possible and for organizing the meeting, which would have been a shame not having participated.

The PC version of the HP-70 and the microcode file will be published and ready for download within this week.

Thanks to all of you guys.
Bernhard
Guys

Thank you all for the laurels, but the thanks goes to yourselves. The Allschwil Meeting lives on the spirit of innovation and diversity of participants. Without you the meeting would not be possible.

On my website there are also good news for those who stayed at home:

- The HP-41C/CV/CX database has been completely revised and is now available as an online database. There is also an HP-48SX/GX database and an HP-71B database available since today. All three databases give you the possibility to filter individually and then to export the desired data as either .csv or .pdf.
- In addition, I was able to publish the long awaited prototype ROMs of a HP-71A and it's HP-IL module at the meeting. Now the series is well finished.

A report of the meeting will hopefully be published at a later date.

Nice - and where do I find the corresponding manuals and images to run in an emulator or alike? On TOS??

Ciao.....Mike

Yes. It does not makes sence to have two or more download servers for the same thing. But I'm in progress to expand the database with individual informations...... Maybe I finish that work untill Allschwil 2018! I hope you are all back then.

Thanks to Matthias for sharing these prototypes with us!
It was a joined work between Sylvain (finding the working HP71/HPIL configuration), myself (extracting the ROM content through HPIL/PILBox/ILPer) and Christoph (converting and checking the ROM, testing on Emu71/Win).

I already made some interesting observations on these ROM, it will be the subject of another thread.

You are right, this is not the best way: I should get in touch with Warren Furlow (HP-41 modules), Eric Rechlin (HP-48 cards) and Sylvain Côté (HP-71 modules). Sh** this is not very practical, too..... [Wink] Any idea? I do not want to get in trouble with one of these three.

I made my Inside HP-01 document available for download. Have fun and enjoy reading.

Bernhard
Very nice and well done. Very appreciated !

Thanks
My presentation (actually four short topics) is available here, for a limited time.

Thanks for sharing these Jean-Francois. Interesting topics should make some fun reading. Wish I could have attended... maybe in 2018?
Hello,
Thank you very much for organising the meeting. I was very happy to attend and i spent one full day speaking about calculators with entusiasts like me.

It has been a marvellous weekend,

See you all in 2018,
