Just found out this interesting calculator & abacus produced by SHARP...

I wonder if the abacus part functions as a single register XD

So 27-digit personal calculators with digital displays are actually essentially as old as the Atari 2600 (if one discounts that they might in technicality have been two entirely separable devices)?
