I don't know if this is the right place for this question or not, but at least it appears to be in the ballpark.
A couple of years ago I bought a copy of the HP12c emulator software sold by HP for use on a Win7 notebook I no longer own. I now want to install this emulator on my Win8 desktop. However, I am unable to activate the software.
When I enter my registration key, the emulator tries to connect to activate.hpcalculating.com but that domain does not appear in the Google DNS.
This is quite frustrating. Digital River still offers this software but I don't want to pay for another copy unnecessarily.
Can anyone tell me how to get this software registered?
Any help that anyone can give is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
