I made an emulator in the past that I need to redo the GUI for from scratch. Before going ahead, I wonder if there is some standard och best practise for the actual calculator graphics and possibly overlays, when it comes to resolution and format?

I planned to use TikZ to generate the graphics, but out of curiosity, what do other people use?

I hope you can make an emulator that can be resized. The newer Windows version use higher and higher resolution, making old HP-41C emulator appear smaller and smaller.
