Anyone know how to recover programs by chance? I accidentally entered exam mode, and it deleted all of my custom programmed functions on my Prime for some reason. I dont have a save state on my computer thanks to a crapped out hard drive. Hoping someone has good news.
Maybe you have a back up from a previous save that you can restore?
Maybe you have them saved on the calc, and can copy them to the emulator, or vice versa?
Maybe you have printed them and saved the hard copy somewhere?
Maybe you shared them with someone or posted them here?

That's about all I can think of at the moment....

i found .HPPRGM files that seem to have the programs, but even opening them in Notepad they are difficult to decipher without some work. anyone have experience with these files and what they are used for?
I should also add i just did the latest update today, should of backed up first but i was not thinking.

You are in luck. They are the compiled versions of your programs. Just drag and drop them onto your calculator (or the emulator) in the Connectivity Kit.
Life saver! it worked, thank you very much, i was dreading spending the 20+ hours re programming all of that again.
Always a good idea to click that "backup" button right there in the update popup window. :-)
Guess i got excited. you can bet there is a backup saved in 3 places now Smile
