Hi All,
After recently updating my OSX Yosemite box to 10.10.3 I found that Hoppi crashed on startup! After some random messing about I managed to find a workaround to the problem and have uploaded a "fixed" version (Hoppi-1.3a-Intel.dmg) at
http://bitbucket.org/cloudycat/hoppi/downloads
for anyone affected. Please read the ***STOP-PRESS*** file for a short description of what I did.
I would be pleased to hear of anyone else's experience with this -- are you seeing the same problem, did my fix work for you too?
BTW (if you've read this far then I'm sure you know, but for those that don't): Hoppi is a Mac OSX application to allow easy Kermit file transfer to/from HP48/49/50-series calculators.

I also use OS X 10.10.3 and Hoppi 1.3 failed with an error opening shared library libhoppi-io.dylib.
After installing the fixed version 1.3a it now works fine.
Thanks for developing HP50g related applications for OS X.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, at least now I know it is not just me!

Same here, but the fix works great. Thanks a lot!

Actually, I've just figured out what the real problem is, and it's my fault. I was putting the dylib in the wrong place in the app bundle right from the beginning -- guess I was just lucky that this worked okay before 10.10.3. I will make a proper Hoppi 1.3.1 release in the next day or so with a proper fix (rather than the hack I did to create 1.3a).

Hoppi 1.3.1 has now been uploaded, and I've deleted the 1.3a horrible hack. If you have 1.3a you might want to update to 1.3.1 as I have more confidence in that continuing to work after future Apple updates.
Sorry for the slight hiccup,
Paul
