Look, Sir, AFAICS you claimed that you have found your name misspelled. I responded I can't find any file I sent to you. I even don't find any correspondence with you in my mailbox (i.e. no email, no donation, nothing which points to "John Galt"!). I asked you to retransmit your messages to me. Nothing came. Now, what would you think?

Please cool down, read your messages once again, and send the missing information. TIA.

d:-?

Edit: Feel free to reassess your recent statement then. Think of the primary school kids reading this forum.

Edit2: I just checked my mailbox once more. Result as before: Not a single mail from "John Galt", no mail from me to him, no donation from him. Strange accusation.

FWIW, John Galt is a literary character and unlikely the real name of the person at issue.
Thanks for the hint. If that guy (?) would simply send me an email with his real name and his nickname next to each other then I could link it easily. Maybe its just a repetition of a mail he (?) sent before. But its difficult without since quite some people ordered.

Corrections:

As noted in the release notes on page 334, αVIEW was renamed to VIEWα.

... so references to αVIEW on pages 255 and 270 should be replaced with VIEWα.

Hi,

Some minor corrections for this really impressive manual. I'm referring to the pages of the printed green book (firmware 3.3).
p. 117: please check the colours of the figure. I think key 16 should be green, and keys 71 and 73 should be yellow.
p. 179: the description of integration corresponds to the functionality of most HP calculators, but NOT to that of the WP 34S: the latter does not return the inaccuracy in Y, but a less accurate approximation of the integral.

Thanks for your excellent work, and best regards,

Pascal
I think that the light blue background is in some way interfering with other coloured items. On page 204 one reads: "Names of astronomical and mathematical constants are printed on colored background there.", where "mathematical" is printed with a green background, but "astronomical" is printed with the same light blue background as the rest of the page.

In the same way, in the constants table on pages 205-212, I cannot distinguish any background in the astronomical constants.

Definitely not a big issue, I only report it for the sake of perfection ;-)

...

Actually, I had been thinking that the blue background in the PDF manual was more of an issue when searching, since the highlights for found search terms are hard to see as one shade of blue among another shade of blue. This is the color used in both Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader under Windows.

I've not noticed that as I'm using PDF-XChange, it uses a much darker blue to highlight search results.

Indeed. He should have asked:
Who is John Galt ?
Email and payment sent. Thank you **VERY MUCH** for your outstanding job.
Got my manual yesterday. Thanks Walter. This is just outstanding work.
Many thanks from another satisfied customer!
Forgive me for being out of the loop, but I have been away from the WP34s for over a year.

Am I correct in concluding that the Version 3.1 PDF available in the Sourceforge downloads and code files is the most recent edition that is freely available?

Thanks,

Les
