Does anyone know how to avoid writing (C) Copyright symbol in the forum when you actually want ( C ) (but without the spaces either side of the C)?
I notice this recoding does not occur in the Subject line, why?
I could not find any reference to this on the MyBB website

This happens with (
r) too. You'll see (r). This is a weird parsing issue in MyBB it even changes the way Latex expressions are shown. The only way I could find to get around this is to put in a formatting code and it's closure between the ( and the c.
So ( [ b ] [ / b ] c ) will work (take out all the spaces).

Press button [B] to enter whatever.
And here we have some bold text.
Namir had the same problem with [ B ]. It was interpreted as bold tag.
Now we have a better workaround for this issue than having to use {B}.

I should be able to remove the C, R, TM automagic in a few days.
I've removed the automagic for (c) (r) and (tm).
