I have noticed, especially in the late morning hours (EST, 10:00 AM - noon), it sometimes takes forever to get a response to the hpmuseum forum. Is there some scheduled activity on this server that occurs daily that would result in this behavior? None of my other Internet links seem to have this delay.
Not a answer to your question, but I, too, have often had this issue (same time frame) while other websites load up instantly.
I have noticed that too!
Today at 3:00 PM EST the main forum would not come up. After about 10 minutes, it came up with empty cells all over the place (looks like some system software is refreshing it). A few minutes later, the cells were filled in. Whenever this seems to happen, it is temporarily unavailable. If this is a scheduled process, can't it be scheduled at 3:00 or 4:00 AM EST?

Very odd; for me (NY area) this same phenomenon occurred around 11:00am EST. But around 3pm all was well. Hmm.....
Hopefully this has been OK recently. There was a server issue that was worked on on the 27th and it seems stable to me since then.
