+1

What does +1 mean? Doesn't seem to add much to the conversation.

(And yes, I really do know what it means - but is that really all that can be added to a conversation?)

Hi Don,

Thanks for pointing that out. I was unaware how special PI day would be this year. I might have to get T-Shirt.

You can only celebrate pi day where that date format rules, i.e. in a quite small fraction of this world. Enjoy!

In this case, it is PI+1,

But that's another day...

Many countries do celebrate Pi Day on July 22 (approximately).

Yes, but a relatively large fraction of this board's members, which is probably what Don was thinking we he thought to share it. I appreciated it, thanks Don.

I've set a reminder alarm, and when it sounds, I shall eat a piece of, you guessed it, to celebrate. We're all crazy in our own small ways....

Yes, thanks for bringing this up!

On 22/7 I celebrate both Pi Approximation Day and my birthday. Hard to forget any :-)

Happy Pi Day! (again)

Obviously, I meant to increase the time value to get the more accurate "3/14/15 at 9:26:54" (rounding instead of truncating :-).

I thought about posting +".5897932384626433..." (concatenate string) instead, but that approach seemed much less aesthetic somehow.
I will video tape myself during the pi "minute" and post it on Facebook! It is an event that will not repeat itself for another 1000 years!!!''
