You're right. Just received my NP-25. Gosh, that's small! Will be a challenge to print all the necessary labels on the real estate available ... but a very nice gadget.

Waiting for a case with front overlays I've put a small label on the back with the different set-up instructions:

This can be the basis for the quick reference card visible on the back pocket Wink
Meanwhile, I've designed and made three overlays I might upload tomorrow.

BTW, on my NP-25, I doubt it emulates an HP-25C - it rather looks like an HP-25 to me. Can anyone confirm?

Great!

It's in between: the program memory is saved but not the registers, see post #54 in the original topic.

Fantastic Walter! Thank you for your efforts.
Thank you to Walter for creating 3 handsome overlays for the NP-25 packaging. The overlays, in my opinion, really make the little gadget usable.

As mentioned previously in this thread, the case is a business card box, with cutouts for the LED and power switch and capacitors. On the front and back of the box are clear pouches to hold the overlays. See the (almost) finished products:

Again - thank you very much, Walter!
I forgot to include this - The quick reference card that Didier posted above also slips into the back pouch, visible at all times.

I'm wondering if there is a form of "upload" that I am unfamiliar with? Or, perhaps, Walter sent the overlays directly to Sanjeev? (I've been missing the completely obvious a little too often lately...)
The overlays were sent directly to me. Since they are Walter's work, I cannot speak for him, but it is my understanding that he will make them available on the forum soon. There was a suggestion I made that is not reflected in the photos I posted.

I also have more of the clear boxes and card pouches. If there is interest, I can prepare a quote based on your location and number of cases required. The shipping and envelopes cost much more than the materials.

Walter - these are delightful, quite typical of your creativity and keen eye. I hope you will share them soon. Chris' amazing 'toy', with Sanjeev's simple but clever 'case' and your overlays take this curious device to whole new level.

I look forward to your comments.

Sanjeev & Bob, thanks!

@Sanjeev: Thanks a lot again for the transparent material.

@Bob: Don't exaggerate.

@All: I'm most willing to upload the pdf'ed overlays but I found my forum upload space cut down to half by some effect unknown to me. I've to wait for the admin to correct that mistake, sorry.

Edit: My forum attachments were downloaded more than 10,000 times in total so far. If I'd delete them quite some threads would lose sense.

Alas, the admin seems to be on vacation. No reaction on my PM either. Sad What to do?

Walter - One tiny comment I meant to send after seeing your keypad layouts - suggest adding some indication (a thin border around the key label, or dif color?) of which key to hold down when turning-on to select that model emulation.
Can be done for sure. Will check.

Finally: here they are! Took a bit longer though not my fault.

Thanks! I'll be able to work on the clear case provided by Sanjeev.
